In the upcoming October fixtures of the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers, reigning champions Argentina will face Venezuela and Bolivia.
Argentina will take on Venezuela on October 10. Their next match will be against Bolivia on October 15.

Venezuela is currently in sixth place, with only two wins from eight matches. They have lost two matches and drawn the remaining four.
Bolivia, on the other hand, is in eighth place with nine points, having won three matches and lost five. Chile sits in ninth place with just five points. They’ve only secured one win in their eight matches, losing five and drawing two.
At the bottom of the group is Peru, still without a victory. Out of their eight matches, they’ve drawn three and lost five.
Historically, Argentina has dominated Venezuela, winning 10 out of their 14 meetings. Two matches have ended in a draw, while Venezuela has won twice. The last time these two teams met was in 2022, where Argentina came out victorious with a 3-0 scoreline.
Similarly, Argentina has faced Bolivia 16 times, winning 11 of those encounters. Three matches ended in a draw, and Bolivia won the other two. Their most recent clash was in September of the previous year, where Argentina won 3-0.
